I am not replaceable!!!Every day I see here on LinkedIn writing how they should be doing such a great job, where the boss needs you so badly they can’t fire you!This has been in business as well, some companies do their work sopcomplicated that in order to fix or modify anything they did, it will be too complicated to use a different company therefore you will always go back to them!I have seen plumbers installing boiler room systems super complicated, at least making it look complicated, or electricians wiring up boiler with their own controllers made in house, or antifreeze from boats mixed with their own concoction (which I really saw), and no one wants to touch it!My opinion always has been the opposite, give the customer such a simple system, that in case there is ever a emergency or they ever wanna modify our system it should be simple to do so without any hassle, and any plumber could do it!Our jobs have pumps which are readily available in local suppliers, our antifreeze is standard, and our pipes are labeled clearly that there shouldn’t be any confusion!But now Motty you are replaceable? If my job can be done by other people than why shouldn’t they hire someone else???The answer is you wanna be not replaceable in terms of trust, communication, and reliability, what happens than is if you are a employee, then your boss will promote you to a supervisor position and you will train others behind you and manage them!If you are their service provider they will trust you so much that they wont price you against your competitors because they want you at any cost!Have I seen it??? Yes 100% ✌️
